Grey here. This week I've put down the pen to pick up a fake microphone 😅 I have been taking my creative time to prepare for the upcoming shows.
Which includes finding instrumentals, stripping vocals, splicing tracks together, and remembering lyrics. My late father used to tell us that good performers practice until they get it right but great performers practice til they can't get it wrong.
Nonetheless, I'm super excited, I haven't performed a rap song publicly in like a year and now I'm going to be apart of two ~20 minute sets within a week. I'm not worried though, rapping is like riding a bike. I'll post the flyers again if anyone just happens to be near Norfolk and Virginia Beach early to mid June.
I have some pretty good ideas for prose I would like to write such as more leftist op-eds for the Proletariat Gazette, a timeline past and future of Trump's campaign according to his recent astrological transits for Star Stuff, and write-ups and reviews on anime tentatively titled Spoiler Alert!
I'm taking ten days off from work in a week so these will probably get written around then. But also, maybe not; life has been pretty unpredictable as of late and I got a family to love on and an EP to finish.
Oh yeah, and I finally got a song on spotify to get more than 1,000 streams. Treetops randomly got added to a couple playlists and now it's like 5x that!
Dad joke:
Q: Why did The Hulk get kicked out of the Honda dealership? 🤔
Wyrlwyde
A: for throwing a Fit! 😂😂

Okay, but seriously, here's a new song snippet from the Shark Bay cannon:
