If I wasn't serious about writing as a career before, then I definitely am now. I'm going to start emerging from my bunker to deliver and sell product until venues are flying me out to perform for the kids somewhere around my Jupiter return.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to give up after losing another contest but then I finally got around to listening to Jay-Z's Grammy speech and it inspired me to keep going until I get what I feel I deserve.
Even if I feel like I'm not publishing what people want to read or making music that will never get spins. I'm going to stick to it. I've lost too many games in chess from giving up on a winning plan halfway through because it didn't seem like it was working.
Every time I think it's pointless to even post these, someone actually reminds me that they really do read or look forward to my weekly ramblings. So I got to thank all of you here.
I haven't been bit by the poetry bug like I was hoping to be this month; however, I did mostly finish organizing everything that I have and I found some interesting stuff I had forgotten about. So I will post a couple of those for this week’s content.
